7 Days: Umbwe Route Kilimanjaro Climb

Overview, Itinerary, Price, Includes & Excludes

7 days Umbwe Route
Overview:

The Umbwe Route is Mount Kilimanjaro’s most direct, steepest, and most physically demanding trail. Ideal for experienced climbers, it offers an intense, uncrowded wilderness experience. The trail starts on the southern side of Kilimanjaro and climbs rapidly through rainforest and along a dramatic ridge toward the Shira Plateau. Though the fast elevation gain can make acclimatization more difficult, this 7-day itinerary includes an extra acclimatization day to improve safety and enjoyment.
