Elias Massawe is a shareholder and director of Tanzania Elsewhere Adventure and Safaris, bringing with him a wealth of experience as a professional
mountain guide. He also serves as a certified trainer and instructor for other mountain guides across the region.
Elias is highly respected by travelers from Canada, United States, Asia, Europe and South Africa, and is known for his dedication to safety and excellence.
Notably, he personally led the Guinness World Record holder for the oldest woman to summit Mount Kilimanjaro at age 87.
He holds certifications in Advanced Wilderness First Aid, Technical Emergency Mountain Rescue, Wildlife Studies, Ornithology,
and Botany—ensuring that all travelers are in expert, capable hands.
Justo W. Mtui is a shareholder and director of Tanzania Elsewhere Adventure and Safaris with an impressive 37 years of experience in
the tourism industry, including 35 years as a mountain and safari guide.
He has led numerous high-profile clients to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, including the Norwegian Ambassador (1990), the German Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Hulbert Holl (1996), and the CEO of Toyota Japan (2001).
Justo worked with students from International School in Moshi, Constantine in Arusha, and Jaffar School in Arusha. His deep knowledge of Tanzanian tourism, exceptional guiding skills, and passion for the outdoors make him a valued leader and trusted expert.
