ITINERARY :

Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Ndutu Area
• Driving Time: 5-6 hours
• Accommodation: Lodge or Tented Camp

Your journey begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha or Moshi, followed by a scenic drive to the Ndutu area, situated within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This area is renowned for being a prime location to witness the Great Migration, especially during the calving season from December to March. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive, where you’ll encounter herds of wildebeests, zebras, and possibly predators like lions and cheetahs. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the Ndutu area.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti National Park
• Driving Time: 3-4 hours (to Serengeti)
• Accommodation: Lodge or Tented Camp

After an early breakfast, you’ll head towards the Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife reserves. Here, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive, exploring the vast savannahs, kopjes,and acacia-dotted landscapes. Serengeti is home to the Big Five, large herds of grazing animals, and a variety of bird species. Your guide will take you to areas where the migration herds are most likely to be found. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing the adventure. Dinner and overnight will be in a lodge or tented camp in Serengeti.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
• Driving Time: 3-4 hours
• Accommodation: Lodge or Tented Camp

After a morning game drive in the Serengeti, you’ll make your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you might spot more wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and possibly leopards. Upon arrival at the crater rim, you’ll take in the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. Dinner and overnight will be at a lodge or tented camp near the crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Return to Arusha/Moshi
• Driving Time: 4-5 hours (to Arusha/Moshi)
On your final day, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. The crater is teeming with wildlife, including lions, rhinos, elephants, and hippos. Its unique ecosystem and high concentration of animals make it a must-see destination. After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, you’ll ascend the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha or Moshi, where the safari concludes.
